It snowed most of the day today, and it looks like it's going to stick this time....we've got around 3 inches on the ground now. I haven't been looking forward to this day, as up here in the North country of Montana, we won't see the ground again until around April or May. I feel like the Winter season of my life has been for many, many years now...maybe this is why it's so hard to face the external reality at the same time. But the beauty to behold is beyond words....like that which awaits the faithful, who endure to the end and know that the Eternal Spring will be worth it all. I guess it is a perfect time to finish this painting today.

Eternal Spring

This is beautiful, Abigail! And, I have to tell you, having turned 61 last September, I'm enjoying the winter of my life.
Longing..... I know what it is, I feel it in your words and I see it in your eyes - through your painting. The strength of your connection with nature is exemplified in the way it pulls and tugs at your heart.
Your response to the external world is the manifestation of much deeper and more profound changes brewing.
Take joy in this time of repose. Snuggle up in front of the fire and discover the dreams, wafting through the air around you.
Springtime is coming and when that snow melts to show the earth below, you'll be amazed at what is revealed!
Gorgeous Janine. Have you ever thought about teaching? Hope you and your family had a wonderful Thanksgiving.
Abigail this is so lovely! The crown of snowflakes is such a prefect adornment to your message and painting! May this winter be gentle with you and overflow with blessings.
What an amazingly soft and beautiful angel! Love the snow flakes around her and the colours.
Thoughtful blog, thanks for posting
Great post thankyou
