"Lines of Life"

My 18 year old daughter Mikaelah, just finished this amazing graphite rendering of an old gypsy woman....can you believe it!!?? It is such photographic quality of realism, it almost takes your breath away! I'm so proud of her and her accomplishments, as she's only been drawing and painting the past 3 yrs. What an inspiration!! If you're interested, we will be offering prints of this piece in our etsy shop.

I could not stop studying this incredible drawing in graphite by your daughter. She sees with her heart and captures the survivor in this older woman's spirit. I am in awe of this work... you must be so proud. Imagine and Live in Peace, Mary Helen Fernandez Stewart

I am absolutely gobsmacked at this piece of art....EVERY detail down to the designs on her rings look like a photograph. Your daughter obviously has an innate talent to only be doing this for 3 years. I am absolutely amazed at the talent that runs like a vein through your entire family! WOW!

That is awesome. I'm here to comment on your OWOH post, but couldn't leave this post without adding how much it grabs me and makes me take a second, longer look.

The appreciation and insight show through so gracefully in this work. A labor of love indeed in the care given to the image. It's living, breathing, and speaking to us. May your daughter's heart and work continue to grow with such deep and beautiful inspiration. Thank you for sharing!
